Turkey’s Kardemir opened its rebar sales at TRY 20,415/mt ($567/mt), excluding VAT, earlier today, February 5. The mill has succeeded in selling around 15,000 mt due to its advantageous payment terms, while its price has indicated an increase of TRY 955/mt ($21/mt) amid higher production costs, compared to Thursday, January 23. The mill’s rebar sales are still open.
Sources report that the workable rebar prices in Turkey’s Marmara and Izmir regions, including Icdas A.S.’s prices, vary at $560-580/mt ex-works.
