Today, July 26, Turkey’s Kardemir has opened its rebar sales at TRY 11,770/mt ($659/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT. The supplier’s rebar price indicates a TRY 735/mt ($53/mt) decline compared to its previous list issued on Tuesday, July 19. Currently a few mills are offering rebar at $660/mt ex-works, while small rebar transactions were concluded at $620-635/mt ex-works yesterday, SteelOrbis has heard.
