Turkey’s Kardemir closes its billet sales

Turkish steel producer Kardemir has closed its billet sales today, January 29, after selling about 116,500 mt in total. The mill had revised its sales prices on January 15 at the level of TRY 2,265/mt ($416/mt) ex-works for S235JR billet and at TRY 2,295/mt ($421/mt) ex-works for MT III-A billet, both excluding VAT.
