Turkey’s Icdas revises its longs prices to offset currency fluctuations

Today, July 30, Turkish steel producer Icdas has decreased its local rebar price by TRY 50/mt to TRY 7,290/mt ex-works to offset the currency fluctuations over the day. The producer has also issued its wire rod price today at TRY 8,285/mt ex-works, with the price down by TRY 60/mt over the same period. The producer has kept its rebar price at $730/mt ex-works and wire rod price at $830/mt ex-works since Wednesday, July 7.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
