Turkey’s Icdas raises its rebar prices by $10/mt

Today, July 5, Turkish steel producer Icdas has raised its local rebar price by TRY 100/mt to TRY 7,480/mt ($730/mt) ex-works amid currency fluctuations and relatively firm scrap prices ahead of the holidays. The producer has also issued its wire rod price today at TRY 8,400/mt ($820/mt) ex-works, down by TRY 10/mt. On US dollar basis, the producer has increased its rebar by $10/mt and kept its wire rod price unchanged, both since the end of last week.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
