Turkey’s Icdas raises its longs prices as week begins

Today, March 14, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has increased its official rebar price by TRY 250/mt ($10/mt) to TRY 16,510/mt ($950/mt) ex-works against the backdrop of currency fluctuations and higher production costs. The supplier has also raised its wire rod price, by TRY 605/mt ($30/mt) to TRY 18,250/mt ($1,050/mt) ex-works. The increases in both longs prices are compared to Wednesday, March 9. The producer had kept its dollar-based longs prices stable on Thursday, March 10 and closed its longs sales at the end of last week.
