Turkey’s Icdas keeps its dollar-based longs prices stable

Today, July 16, Turkish steel producer Icdas has decreased its local rebar price by TRY 80/mt to TRY 7,360/mt ex-works amid currency fluctuations and sluggish demand since the beginning of this week. The producer has also issued its wire rod price today at TRY 8,360/mt ex-works, with the price down by TRY 100/mt over the same period. The producer’s rebar and wire rod prices have remained unchanged at $730/mt and $830/mt ex-works on US dollar basis respectively since Wednesday, July 7.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
