Currently, domestic rebar prices in Italy are mostly around €450-460/mt ($495-506/mt) ex-works. Local demand is almost absent due to weak construction activity and the approaching holidays. Meanwhile, rebar sales to the export markets have remained very sluggish in the past few weeks. Nonetheless, Italian producers' offers are still at €450-460/mt ($495-506/mt) FOB.
