SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that local prices in the Spanish wire rod market have increased by €5/mt ($7/mt) since last week to €475-480/mt (641-648$/mt) delivered to customer.
Meanwhile, Spanish mesh quality and drawing quailty wire rod export offers have increased by €5/mt ($7/mt) over the same period to €450/mt ($607/mt) FOB and €465/mt ($628/mt) FOB respectively.
Market players state that demand for Spanish wire rod is still weak in both the domestic and export markets.
