Steelorbis has learned from market sources that Spanish wire rod export offers have declined since last week due to the appreciation of the euro against the US dollar. Accordingly, Spanish mesh quality wire rod export offers are now standing at €490-505/mt ($664-684/mt) FOB, while offers for drawing quality wire rod are now at €505-520/mt (684-705/mt) FOB, both on actual weight basis.
