Spanish producers’ rebar export prices have declined by €5/mt week on week on the lower end to €450-460/mt ($500-511/mt) FOB. Although most Spanish producers are continuing their maintenance works, international rebar buyers are still exerting pressure on them to reduce their prices.

Meanwhile, domestic 12-32 mm rebar prices in Spain have moved sideways week on week at €470-480/mt ($522-533/mt) ex-works. Since most European buyers will leave the market due to the summer holidays, activity in the Spanish rebar market is expected to be very quiet during August.
