Demand in the local Spanish rebar market has failed to improve over the past week and is still at low levels. Market sources state that buyers in the local Spanish rebar market are postponing their purchases as they still consider the current price range to be on the high side. Meanwhile, Spanish rebar producers have kept their domestic offers stable week on week at €505-510/mt ($621-627/mt) delivered to customer. On the other hand, it is reported that they may offer €10-15/mt discounts for domestic rebar sales for large tonnages. Additionally, it is observed that Spanish rebar mills are focusing on exports rather than on domestic sales due to better demand.
