Spanish rebar mills’ export offers decrease slightly

Demand in the international rebar markets is still at low levels, and so Spanish rebar mills’ have reduced their export offers by €5/mt week on week to €460-465/mt ($520-526/mt) FOB. Additionally, SteelOrbis has been informed that stronger demand for Spanish rebar is being received from Algeria as compared to other North African markets.

On the other hand, domestic 12-32 mm rebar prices in Spain have remained unchanged during the past week at €485-490/mt ($548-554/mt) ex-works, while demand in the local Spanish rebar market has remained weak in the given period.
