Spanish producers’ rebar export prices have moved sideways week on week at €450-460/mt ($500-511/mt) FOB. Although most Spanish producers are continuing their maintenance works, international rebar buyers are still exerting pressure for lower prices.

Moreover, domestic 12-32 mm rebar prices in Spain have also moved sideways week on week at €470-480/mt ($522-533/mt) ex-works. Since most European buyers are getting ready to leave the market by next week for their summer holidays, trading activity in the Spanish rebar market is expected to be very quiet in August.
