During the past week, Spanish rebar export prices have decreased by an average of €20/mt and are now at €470-480/mt ($531-542/mt) FOB. Market sources state that Spanish rebar exporters have followed the falling trend of global rebar quotations, while they have also been influenced by lower global scrap prices. On the other hand, current Spanish rebar export prices are still considered to be on the high side by buyers, who are still exerting pressure on quotations.
