Spanish rebar producers’ export offers have increased by €5/mt on the upper end over the past week. With scrap quotations in Europe increasing further from their already high levels, Spanish rebar export prices have moved up to €480-490/mt ($542-554/mt) FOB. Market sources expect rebar export offers from Spain to move up by another €5/mt in the coming week against the backdrop of the rises observed in scrap quotations.
