It is observed that demand for Spanish rebar in the international rebar market has remained at low levels over the past week. Due to their previously-concluded domestic sales, Spanish rebar producers are reportedly satisfied with the current international demand, and are not actively targeting new export sales. Spanish rebar mills have reflected their increased production costs, caused by higher global scrap quotations, in their export prices, raising them by €10/mt week on week to €490-500/mt ($559-570/mt) FOB.
