SteelOrbis has been informed that international demand for Spanish rebar has remained slack during the past week, while Spanish rebar exporters have mostly received demand from the Middle East. Market sources state that Spanish rebar producers are focusing on their domestic market due to higher demand. Over the past week, Spanish rebar exporters have increased their offers by an average of €10/mt to €490-500/mt ($568-580/mt) FOB against the backdrop of higher import scrap and domestic rebar quotations.
