The overall weakness of international rebar demand has caused Spanish rebar export offers to fall further in the current week. Having been at €475-480/mt FOB last week, Spanish rebar export offers have decreased to €470-475/mt ($531-537/mt) FOB in the current week.

Meanwhile, seeking to take a share of the demand received from the US amid competition from Portugal, Bulgaria and Italy, Spanish rebar suppliers have kept their offers to this destination stable. Accordingly, Spanish rebar offers to the US are still at $750-761/mt DDP loaded truck at US Gulf ports.
