SteelOrbis has been informed that the price for imported rebar in the local Dubai market is standing at the level of AED 4,000-4,100/mt ($1,089-1,116/mt) delivered to site on theoretical weight basis, with three-to-four month deferred payment, excluding VAT.

Domestic prices are still decreasing in the UAE rebar market, which has been experiencing very sluggish construction activity due to Ramadan.
