SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that S1 grade welding quality wire rod prices in the Turkish domestic market are at $670/mt, while local offers for SG2 grade welding quality wire rod stand at $730/mt.

However, current prices are considered to be on the high side in the local market, though suppliers are unwilling to negotiate on their prices. Thus, Turkish buyers are showing occasional interest in import materials.
