In the Cypriot domestic market prices of medium sized rebars from stockists are at around the level of €400/mt ($528/mt) delivered to customer, excluding VAT, on actual weight basis and for 45-60 day deferred payment.
The uptrend in import rebar prices is also pushing up rebar prices in Cyprus. Meanwhile, end-user demand is still weak in this region.
