Pakistan Steel hikes billet prices

Pakistan Steel Mill has hiked sales prices for billets of 90 × 90 mm/ 100 x 100 mm and 105 × 105 mm in the local Pakistani market by PRK 1,800/ton (approx. $29/ton) to PKR 30,300/ton ($498/ton) ex-mill, excluding sales tax/excise duty. Meanwhile the mill has increased the price of 150 × 150 mm billets by the same amount to PKR 29,800/ton ($490/ton), as per the price list dated February 12, 2007. The producer's HRC, CRC and galvanized coil prices remain at their previous levels.
