Due to the continuously changing US$/TRY exchange rate, the offer price levels given by the Turkish producers earlier this week have now softened in the Turkish domestic merchant bar market. As of today, October 30, the merchant bar prices in this market, depending on size, thickness and region, are at the following levels: small IPN-UPN are priced at TRY 740-800/mt ($486-525/mt), angles stand at TRY 740-800/mt ($486-525/mt), and flat bars and square bars are at TRY 750-810/mt ($492-532/mt) - all prices are ex-works, on actual weight basis and excluding VAT.
