Local Turkish official wire rod prices have mostly increased by $10-20/mt to $670-690/mt ex-works since the beginning of this week amid higher import scrap and billet prices.

Most Turkish mills are offering for late December delivery, while a limited tonnage is available from stocks, depending on the size and quality.

One Iskenderun-based mill has kept its official wire rod price at $670/mt ex-works today.
