Local Turkish wire rod prices move sideways

Local Turkish wire rod prices have remained unchanged over the past week.

Most Turkish mills continue offering wire rod for late October-November delivery.

“Local wire rod market is quiet this week due to sluggish demand and silence in import scrap segment” one source mentioned. As a result, most Turkish local buyers are refraining from new purchases while some of them are buying to meet their daily needs only.
