Today, February 17, Turkish wire rod producers have increased their domestic list prices by $5-22.5/mt compared to Friday, February 12, amid currency fluctuations and stronger scrap prices. Most Turkish mills are offering wire rod for April-early May delivery. Most wire rod buyers are in wait-and-see mode due to the Turkish Central Bank’s interest rate decision expected tomorrow.
