The above prices, which are on actual weight basis, exclude VAT and are on ex-works basis. The offers may differ depending on buyers and order sizes.

Although demand in the local Turkish wire rod market is still at low levels, Turkish mills have raised their domestic wire rod prices slightly due to recent rises seen in scrap quotations. Since domestic wire rod prices in Turkey’s Izmir region were already at high levels, no prices change in this region has been recorded, though prices in other regions have moved up slightly due to higher production costs resulting from increased scrap quotations. Turkish steel mills have raised their domestic wire rod prices by $15/mt on the lower end week on week to $530-550/mt ex-works.
