Market sources state that the ongoing depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar has troubled buyers in the market, leading them to conclude purchases only in line with their needs. Additionally, SteelOrbis has been informed that Turkish wire rod producers have reduced their domestic prices by an average of $5/mt week on week due to the weakness of demand.
