Mills’ domestic wire rod offers in Turkey have remained stable over the past week in most regions of the country, while buyers prefer to postpone new purchases, seeking to sell off their stocks. Some of them, in particular, have purchased more material than needed as the upward sentiment have been strong in the market. Most producers are offering for April deliveries, while only in Iskenderun producers are soon expected to be in the market to sell for May. Prices of April production wire rod in Iskenderun, supply being limited, are $10-15/mt above last week’s levels, SteelOrbis has learned.
