Today, December 21, rebar spot prices in Turkey have risen by TRY 50-130/mt, while rising by $11-20/mt on US dollar basis due to currency fluctuations, as compared to Thursday, December 17. As of today, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled within the range of TRY 5,630-5,680/mt or $621-627/mt ex-warehouse depending on the region.
Icdas has raised its rebar sales price to TRY 5,650/mt ($623/mt) ex-works today, up by $3/mt compared to this morning due to currency fluctuations. In addition, most Marmara-based mills are currently offering rebar at TRY 5,755/mt ($635/mt) ex-works.
In the Izmir region, Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) has issued its rebar price at TRY 5,710/mt ex-works ($630/mt) ex-works today.
In the Iskenderun region, Bastug Metalurgy has closed its rebar sales today.
In the Samsun region, Yesilyurt A.S. has opened its rebar sales at TRY 5,800/mt ($640/mt) ex-works.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. has opened its rebar sales at TRY 5,700/mt ($629/mt) ex-works.
