Turkish merchant bar producers have kept their domestic prices stable over the past week in the local currency, with a decrease of $2-3/mt on US dollar basis, against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations. One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its equal angle price at TRY 25,250/mt ($600/mt) ex-works today, November 4. Local merchant bar prices may be revised soon due to the ongoing currency fluctuations.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for deliveries in late November-December or from stocks, depending on the size.
The general sentiment on the demand side is still negative.
