Over the past two weeks, Turkish merchant bar producers have decreased their official domestic merchant bar prices by TRY 200-400/mt ($10-16/mt), amid the ongoing currency fluctuations and the sluggish demand. In the Iskenderun region, one mill is offering its equal angles at TRY 20,750/mt ($580/mt) ex-works.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for deliveries in February-early March or from stocks, depending on the size.
