Turkish merchant bar producers have kept their official domestic merchant bar prices unchanged on Turkish lira basis, with prices falling by only $2/mt on US dollar basis against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations. One Iskenderun-based mill issued its equal angle price at TRY 29,200/mt ($646/mt) ex-works today, May 5.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for deliveries in late May or from stocks, depending on the size.
Additional discounts are applicable for cash payment in order to generate sales, depending on the tonnage.
