Turkish merchant bar producers have cut their official domestic merchant bar prices by TRY 50-600/mt ($4-16/mt) amid the ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand. One Iskenderun-based mill issued its equal angle price at TRY 28,600/mt ($630/mt) ex-works today, May 12, down TRY 600/mt ($16/mt) week on week.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for deliveries in late May-early June or from stocks, depending on the size.
Additional discounts are still applicable for cash payments.
