Turkish merchant bar producers have kept their official domestic merchant bar prices unchanged in the local currency, while their prices are down by $2-3/mt on US dollar basis against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations. One Iskenderun-based mill issued its equal angle price at TRY 29,000/mt ($629/mt) ex-works today, June 9, also stable in liras basis but down by $3/mt on dollar basis over the same period.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for deliveries in July or from stocks, depending on the size.
