According to market sources, rebar prices in some regions in the Turkish domestic rebar market have decreased over the past week due to slack transaction activity in the market. On May 23, Kardemir had opened its domestic rebar sales prices at TRY 1,222/mt ($588/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, and since then it has attracted orders for a total of 23,250 mt.
