After increasing by €15/mt on average in the previous week, domestic rebar prices trended sideways in the Italian market in the past week. However, local producers, who have sold good volumes to the export markets in the past several weeks, are aiming to increase their offers by €10-20/mt for new orders, according to market sources. Until then, domestic rebar prices will be in the range of €480-490/mt ($547-559/mt) ex-works.
