Domestic rebar prices in Italy have increased for the fourth consecutive week. The main reason of this upward movement in the local Italian rebar market is the scarce availability of several diameters at local producers. Domestic rebar prices in Italy have increased from last week's €500-510/mt level to the current level of €520-530/mt ($603-615/mt), all ex-works. While demand in the local Italian rebar market is still at low levels, the lack of material and also the fact that producers have received a lot of orders from the export markets have supported recent week's price rises.
