Kardemir’s domestic rebar sales attract demand

After Turkish steelmaker Icdas closed it domestic rebar sales today, July 9, the rebar sales of domestic producer Kardemir, which were opened on June 26 at the price level of TRY 1,149/mt ($628/mt) + VAT ex-works, have picked up some demand. For now, total demand for Kardemir's rebar sales has hit the level of 37,000 mt. While the sales still continue, they are expected to be closed soon. Today, many steel mills from different regions of Turkey closed their domestic rebar sales after they succeeded in attracting demand and orders in sufficient tonnages. Meanwhile, traders' domestic prices have increased.
