After a period of stability that lasted less than two weeks, domestic rebar prices in Italy have resumed their downtrend. While they were at €420/mt ex-works on October 8, they are now mostly in the range of €405-415/mt ($450-461/mt) ex-works. Market sources have attributed the recent decline to the very quiet situation in terms of sales, both in the domestic and the export markets.

€1 = $1.11
