Demand in the local Italian rebar market is still weak, while buyers are waiting to understand the price trend in the coming days.

Domestic producers’ rebar prices in the Italian market, which had last week decreased to the range of €365-375/mt ($413-424/mt) ex-works, have continued their soft trend this week, converging at €365/mt ($413/mt) ex-works. Meanwhile, it seems that some producers are offering discounts on this price level, which means they are ready to sell at €355/mt ($402/mt) ex-works.
