Israeli buyers await for new wire rod import offers

According to market sources, local steelmakers' rebar offers in the Israeli domestic market are still being quoted at $620-625/mt delivered, excluding 16 percent VAT, indicating no changes over the last two weeks. Meanwhile, Turkish rebar offers to Israel can now be found at $605-615/mt CFR, increasing by $10/mt over the same period and market insiders state that demand for these offers are at moderate levels.
 
On the other hand, no new wire rod import offers have been heard in the Israeli market, while local buyers are waiting to hear Ukrainian offers before concluding any purchases.
