SteelOrbis has been informed that today, January 5, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has increased its official mesh grade wire rod price by $10/mt to $730/mt ex-works. In addition, the mill has also raised its rebar price by TRY 400/mt ($17/mt) to TRY 15,800/mt ex-works, equal to $713/mt ex-works at the current exchange rate. The main reason is the positive sentiment in the import scrap and billet segments.
