Iskenderun-based Turkish mill issues its longs prices

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, June 12, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has issued its official mesh grade wire rod price at TRY 15,300/mt ($643/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, rising by TRY 300/mt ($2/mt) compared to Thursday, June 8, against the backdrop of the depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar and the unclear financial situation in the country. Moreover, the mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 17,650/mt ($628/mt) ex-works today, rising by TRY 100/mt, while falling by $7/mt on US dollar basis, over the same period. VAT is taken as 18 percent. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 23.80 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
