SteelOrbis has been informed that an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has cut its wire rod prices by $30/mt to $870/mt ex-works today, May 12, compared to the beginning of this week. The main reasons are the negative sentiment in the import scrap segment, sluggish demand and currency fluctuations.
