Iskenderun-based Turkish mill cuts longs prices on lira basis

SteelOrbis has been informed that today, June 20, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has issued its official mesh grade wire rod price at TRY 15,200/mt ($645/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, falling by TRY 100/mt while rising by $2/mt on US dollar basis, compared to Monday, June 12, amid ongoing currency fluctuations. Moreover, the mill has issued its rebar price at TRY 17,450/mt ($627/mt) ex-works today, down TRY 200/mt ($1/mt) over the same period. VAT is taken as 18 percent. The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 23.58 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
