Iskenderun-based Turkish mill cuts its merchant bar price

An Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has issued its equal angle (30-100 mm) price at TRY 20,750/mt ($584/mt) ex-works today, January 17, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand. The price indicates a TRY 250/mt ($10/mt) decline compared to Friday, January 3.

A few re-rollers are also offering their HEA/HEB (550-700 mm, standard) at TRY 27,000/mt ($759/mt), for delivery to Osmaniye, stable in the local currency and down by $5/mt on US dollar basis over the same period.
