Iranian steel mill Esfahan Steel Company (ESCO) is reported to have floated an export tender for 30,000 mt of steel bilet. The material is destined to be delivered not later than October 15. The deadline for bids is Monday, August 15.

As SteelOrbis reported earlier, Iranian steel exporters have become bullish following a rapid increase in scrap deal prices in Turkey and the gradual consolidation of positive sentiments in the global steel market. Although Iranian suppliers' attempts to increase prices have failed so far, in the coming deals the producers are determined to get prices not below $460-465/mt FOB, compared to $440/mt FOB in the previous trades, SteelOrbis has learned from market sources.
