IPE prices in Italy

The price level of Italian-produced IPE of sizes up to 140 mm in Italy's domestic market is at €595/mt ($870/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, for 60-day deferred payment.

Meanwhile, the price level of IPE of sizes up to 200 mm in the Italian domestic market is at €630/mt ($921/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, also for 60-day deferred payment.

The previous sluggishness in the European market prices has been replaced by an upward trend. The price level of IPE of sizes up to 140 mm, which was at €560/mt in the previous week, has increased to €595/mt, while the price level of IPE of sizes up to 200 mm, which was at €595/mt the week before, has increased to €630/mt. It is a matter of some curiosity how the currently calm European market will respond to the prices in question.

On the other hand, the merchant bar prices in the Italian domestic market have been pushing towards €570/mt ($834/mt).
